National School Counseling Week 2026 is Feb 2-6, 2026
This week, we proudly celebrate National School Counseling Week, which highlights the crucial and specialized role school counselors play in supporting students’ academic success, social growth, and emotional well-being. We are grateful for the dedication and compassion of our school counselor and the positive impact she has had on our school community every day.
We would like to recognize Mrs. Abdo, who works tirelessly to support our students, families, and staff. Her commitment, care, and advocacy help ensure that every student feels supported, valued, and empowered to succeed. We are thankful for all that she does for our Beachland family. 💙

Girls on the Run is coming to our school! Start date is Tuesday, February 10th. Girls on the Run for grades 3-5, inspires girls to develop, build and grow their self-confidence. Lessons blend physical activity with life skills development, fostering friendships and team connections. At the end of the season the team completes a Community Impact Project and a Celebration 5K together to set a confident mindset in motion. Contact Mrs. Bing for more information.
There are 2 ways for students to interact with our drones.
1. Friday Student Choice Elective/Media Center
2.Drone Club/ Event attendance required.
Students that are interested in receiving a parent permission form can request a form on Wednesday from Coach Ritt duirng specials and must be returned by end of day 1/23/26
Students that participate MUST commit to the SDIRC Track Meet on Saturday, April 11th.
