Leading with Innovation 💡💫
Superintendent Dr. David Moore hosted a Family and Community Information Session this evening for Rosewood Magnet families to explore how innovation is shaping our district’s next chapter.

It was a chilly day by Florida standards and our staff showed up bundled, smiling, and ready to take on the day! ❄️☀️

In Ms. Polverari’s media class, students learned about Veterans Day and the importance of honoring those who served. After reading Veterans: Heroes in Our Neighborhood, students chose from several creative ways to show their gratitude—building flags with LEGOs, making red, white, and blue paper chains, or designing mini posters featuring American symbols and thank-you messages for our veterans. 🇺🇸❤️💙

This morning, we proudly honored our Veterans and their families as they helped us raise the flag for freedom—reminding us all that freedom isn’t free. ❤️🤍💙

The Rosewood Cheer Team brought the energy and spirit today at the Indian River Cheer and Dance Showcase at the Indian River Fairgrounds! 🎉 Their hard work, dedication, and team spirit truly paid off — the team earned a Superior Performance Banner, two First Place titles, and one Third Place title for Best Jumps! 🏆✨
Let’s give a special shoutout to our jump winners:

We are so proud of each and every one of our cheerleaders for representing Rosewood with confidence, energy, and pride. You showed up, showed out, and proved that hard work really does shine on the mat! 💚🖤💫
A huge thank you to Coach Ellis and Coach Merritt for their incredible leadership and commitment to our team — we couldn’t do it without you! 💪📣

Our 5th and 6th graders gathered today for a special presentation honoring our nation’s veterans. Students listened attentively as local veterans shared their experiences, lessons learned, and what service to our country truly means. It was an inspiring reminder of the courage and sacrifice behind the freedoms we enjoy every day. 🇺🇸

Our 2nd graders brought ancient history to life today! 🇬🇷 They transformed the cafeteria into a bustling Greek Agora—buying, selling, and trading their handmade goods just like merchants of old. A fun and lively way to learn about economics, culture, and community!

Ms. Palmer's Kindergarten music students learned to sing “The Farmer in the Dell”! 🎶 Through this classic tune, students practiced sequencing and following directions—all while having a little old-fashioned fun!

Students in Mrs. Zwemer’s class participated in a Trust Walk activity today! 🤝 Partners guided one another while blindfolded to experience, even for a moment, the challenges individuals with disabilities may face. It's part of our Human Body unit, and the lesson is called “Overcoming Disabilities.” A powerful experience in empathy, communication, and trust!
