Second grade took math off the page and onto their feet today! 🧮 Students practiced plotting three-digit numbers by creating a human number line during morning meeting in Ms. Napier's class.

Students in Ms. Porter's class rolled up their sleeves and put their math skills to work using play money to practice adding decimals. Hands-on learning made those place values click as dollars and cents came together with confidence.

Many thanks to WPTV Fox 29 meteorologist Kate Wentzel for bringing the forecast to life for our kindergartners today! ☀️🌧️

Ms. Davidson’s class can’t stop annotating! 📚✨ Students worked with partners to mark up texts about mangrove trees, sharing ideas and noticing key details together. One proud scholar summed it up best: “I’m getting really good at annotating!”
