Thanks to Coach Ferrari, our 4th and 5th graders participated in the Bike Rodeo this week, where they learned the laws of the road, practiced safe maneuvering, and sharpened skills they’ll use for years to come. Best part? Every student went home with a bike helmet—because learning sticks best when it’s paired with protection.
Mrs. Zwemer’s students wrapped up their learning by writing exit tickets about what they learned from the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.

Ms. Britner’s class proved that Oreos are far more than cookies—they’re an edible, tactile way to model the phases of the moon. 🌙🍪
In Ms. Davidson’s class, as students studied the Renaissance, they learned about the many challenges Michelangelo faced while painting the Sistine Chapel—cramped spaces, awkward angles, and all.
To make that experience feel a little more real, students put themselves in Michelangelo’s shoes by taking on a challenge of their own: drawing what they envision as the future RMS mascot. A perfect blend of history, creativity, and the time-honored tradition of learning by doing. 🎨

Students modeled the Sun, Earth, and Moon, demonstrating how these celestial bodies interact within our solar system. They also investigated the phases of the Moon—observing, questioning, and discovering just like scientists have done for generations.
Our Holiday Hardcourt Celebration never disappoints! It’s heartwarming to see students, staff, and families all in one place, celebrating together the way a school community should. This year was especially meaningful as it marked the final time we’ll host this beloved tradition on our current campus. While our address will change next year, rest assured—this celebration is coming with us. Some traditions are simply too good to leave behind.
We were also so thankful to welcome our special guests from Storm Grove as we begin the exciting journey of merging our two school families.

In the media center, Ms. Polverari’s classes explored December holidays from around the world and the traditions that make them meaningful. Our Panthers rotated through five KEVA Plank challenges, working together to design and build symbols representing each celebration. A little global learning, a little engineering, and just the right amount of festive fun—tradition meets creativity at its finest.
