Chinese New Year S/CORE Day in 2nd Grade
Second graders celebrated Chinese New Year with bright traditions and festive learning! The color red, a symbol of good fortune and happiness, is central to the holiday. Homes are decorated with beautiful red paper cutouts and messages of good wishes, while children often receive red envelopes filled with coins to bring luck for the new year.
To bring the tradition to life, each student received a necklace with a good luck coin and created their own red paper decorations to spread happiness and prosperity. 🎉🧧
